“Absolute Luxury”

This was our last stop after a fabulous series of safaris in four locations across Kenya and Tanzania. This is the place you go to unwind, relax, and recover from many days and hours on safaris. The place is simply out of this world. It is safe, secure, the food is fantastic, and the service is friendly and genuine. Though we didn't feel comfortable swimming because the beach has a fair bit of seaweed, the suites have plunge pools and the resort itself has a large pool. If you do go for a walk on the beach, go left when you get to the beach and just off the resort property there are two shacks. Check them out! They have some great local artwork and crafts. We purchased several items after some tough negotiation and are now the proud owners of 2 oil paintings which will forever remind us of our African vacation. As a final tip, be ready for a load of nonsense once you hit the airport. The airport do not make announcements (that you can hear) and there is massive confusion about whether or not the next plane to Dar es Salaam is yours. And good luck if you try and ask the airport staff anything as they are quite rude and unhelpful. And get ready for this....the staff at the Dar es Salaam airport are much worse! But don't let this dissuade you from staying at this resort. It was truly a wonderful experience! Traveller photos
