“Holiday like a Pasha”

Baraza is absolutely beautiful. While the theme is the time of the sultans, you are treated like a pasha - or whatever the female equivalent is! Our villa accommodation was superb - spacious, serene decor, comfortable and very clean. The resort itself is lovely, with many-coloured bougainvillea blooming everywhere, well kept grounds, cool, calm colours and lovely tasteful touches everywhere. The service was indescribable. Everyone - and I mean EVERYONE - was so friendly, extemely kind and helpful. Thank you all so much: Rose, Kale, Lucas, Julius, Jida, Hamadi, Joseph, our lovely room cleaner and anyone we've missed. You all made our stay unforgettable. The meals were divine - you couldn't just call it 'food'. Although a vegetarian option was not readily available on the pre-prepared menus, the chefs were very helpful in discussing and preparing lovely veggie meals for my daughter. Baraza is a newish resort and some travellers may find it too quiet at night. This suited us just fine as we were looking for total relaxation. Judging by the very loud music we could hear from the neighbouring hotels, we felt lucky and glad with our choice. Guest nationality: British Reviewed October 1, 2009
